Dr. Kwajalin Brown, or Dr. Kwaj, holds degrees in Health Administration, Health Education, Health Promotion, Public Health, Human Behavior and Family Studies, and Social Work from The University of Alabama and a Doctor of Social Work from The University of Southern California. 

Dr. Brown is the creator of the Teachers Child Abuse Reporting and Education Training, or Teachers C.A.R.E.S with correlating lectures, tool kits, short-form videos, manuals, and asynchronous training.

Dr. Brown has over 15 years of clinical behavioral health experience ranging from the medical field to behavioral health diagnostics and treatment. She has experience providing behavioral health services to adults, adolescents, children, couples, families, and groups. Areas of specialty are:

  • Abuse and Neglect

  • Anxiety

  • Childhood Trauma

  • Chronic illness

  • Depression

  • Grief and loss

  • Parenting concerns, especially among parents of neuroatypical children

She uses an eclectic yet client-centered tool kit of modalities to yield therapeutic results.

Dr. Brown now lives in Tuscaloosa with her family and is currently licensed in Alabama, Idaho, and New Jersey.
